Mabel's Photo Album, Part 1 + Old Topographic Maps

These photos come from Mabel Rodger's 1920s-era 6-inch by 5-inch photo album. In 1988, my father (Mabel's son) tried to identify some of the people in them. The photos are glued into the album. By peeling back photo edges where it was possible, he found no labels on the backs of the photos.

One of the larger photos is of the WJ Rodger house - 3 inches by 4 inches. Generally, these snapshots were taken between 1900 and 1920.

On the map above, buildings described as the WJ Rodger 'homestead' are seen south of Geneva and immediately north of the red number '31' .
